The dome is a study for the dome of a public concourse in New York City. As people cross the floor, their paths are traced on lights in the dome ceiling. Using programmable LEDs over a diffused glass plane, the trails take on their own dynamic, continuing long after the pathmaker has left.

The same principle can be applied to a lobby or any public space.
